Women Engineering Their Future

Women Engineering Their Future is an exciting hands-on overnight experience that introduces young women and their high school advisors to the many opportunities available at the College of Engineering at Oregon State University and provides an opportunity to:

  • Learn how you can make a difference! Meet engineering students who help develop new medical devices, design better surgery rooms, make life in tsunami areas safer,  improve the water supply of an El Salvadorian village, make computer animated movies, start their own businesses, improve wheel chair accessibility, advance progress in wind, wave, and solar energy,  convert soybean oil to bio-diesel, and more! Engineers are involved in all aspects of lives improvements! You can get involved!
  • Have your questions answered by engineering students and faculty
  • Live in a residence hall. Try dorm food!
  • Learn about scholarships, paid internships, and opportunities for you!

College! It’s Where You Belong!!

Four Students and a High School Advisor (teacher, counselor, Aspire volunteer) from each school will attend together.  Participants will arrive between 4:00-5:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, and depart Friday, April 4 by 1:30 PM

Priority will be given to 11th and 12th grade students.
