Paid Undergraduate Research Experience
for Sophomore and Junior Engineering Students

The Intel Corporation and the College of Engineering are collaborating to offer undergraduate research opportunities to students and connect faculty with outstanding students to asisist in their research labs. The Intel Scholars program is designed to introduce diverse population students to opportunities in research and graduate school in engineering. Authentic, hands-on research experience provided by engineering faculty is the centerpiece of the program!
Opportunites in the area of semiconductor research and informational technology related fields for women and underrepresented minority engineering students .

The 2006 Intel Scholars

Full time research opportunities are available during the summer months. During spring and summer 2006, six students participated with faculty from EECS, Chemical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
