The OSU Women's Giving Circle, a component of Women and Philanthropy was created in 2002 when 24 women each donated $500 and pooled their resources to grant three awards. "This enables our individual gifts to make a greater impact and we have an opportunity to find out about lots of exciting things happening at OSU," said Judy (Walls) Freeman '63 Clothing and Textiles, a Giving Circle member.

Women and Philanthropy, founded by former OSU First Lady Les Risser, represents an umbrella of programs including an annual symposium, newsletter and the Women's Giving Circle.
