ENGR 199: Engineering Adventures
Engineering Adventures is an opportunity to go on a camping, rafting, and hiking trip before classes even start. During the trip, students learn more about their upcoming college experience, explore Oregon's beautiful nature, get to know engineering classmates, and have an experience they will cary with them throughout college! The two day trip consists of a day hike, overnight tent camping, and a day of whitewater rafting on the breathtaking McKenzie River!
There will be two trips prior to the beginning of fall term. The first trip is September 20-21 and the second is September 21-22. There will be a pre-trip meeting the day before your trip where Outdoor Recreation Center representatives will equip each student with the information and supplies that will be needed for the trip. Any incoming freshman engineering student can participate, no experience necessary. Do not miss out on this opportunity!
