College profile and statistics

Even university mascot Benny Beaver is on the College of Engineering bandwagon steaming toward the Top-25 goal. Each year, engineering students create an off-road recreational vehicle like the Society of Automotive Engineer's Mini Baja car, shown here. From initial planning, budgets, and schedules, to the final fabrication and assembly, the students are responsible for every detail. In the 2000 western region competition, the Oregon State team finished 19th out of 101 entries.
