Faculty Positions Available

* Construction Engineering and Management (available now)
OHIO UNIVERSITY, Civil Engineering Department, invites applications for
a tenure-track position in
Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) at the associate professor
or professor rank. Candidates must
demonstrate excellence in teaching of undergraduate and graduate
courses, and must also initiate and maintain
research initiatives. The CEM program is supported through a significant
endowment and has an active industry
advisory board. Excellent opportunities for research collaboration with
the Ohio Research Institute for
Transportation and the Environment are available. Applicants must have a
B.S. degree in an engineering discipline,
an earned doctorate in civil engineering, and be a registered P.E. or
become one within three years. We seek a
candidate committed to working effectively with students, faculty, and
staff from diverse backgrounds.

appointment will be commensurate with
qualifications. Candidates must demonstrate potential for excellence in
teaching of undergraduate and graduate
courses. Participation in research projects is available through the
