Staff Engineer

A-dec is searching for an experienced Staff Engineer to join our team.
The Staff Engineer will be responsible for leading technology research
projects primarily focused on the integration of technology products
into A-dec equipment and cabinetry, as well as the transmission of
information between A-dec equipment and other systems.  In addition, the
Staff Engineer will interact closely with the Electrical Engineering and
Product Management groups as well as serve as a technical resource and
team member on other projects or initiatives.  The emphasis will be on
early stage product definition, exploratory research, concept
development and proof of concept activities with a more limited role in
the execution phase of the product development process.

The ideal candidate for this position will have an advanced degree in
electrical engineering and/or computer engineering with expertise in
electrical systems design plus a broad grasp of computer networking,
software engineering, and instrumentation engineering. Experience in
imaging would be an added asset, though not essential.
