Software Developer, Entry Level

Required Skills:
-Working knowledge of object-oriented programming
-Working knowledge of SQL
-Knowledge of the software development life cycle
-Basic knowledge of client-server application environments
-Basic knowledge of interface programming
-Ability to implement solutions based upon written specifications
-Good debugging skills
-Familiarity with XML is a plus
-Documentation skills a plus
-Ability to adhere to documented standards

Expected Duties:
-Application maintenance
-Custom reporting
-Technical support
-Project maintenance and documentation

A software developer at NuMedics is expected to have the ability and the willingness to learn. The ideal candidate would be a forward thinking individual with the ability to manage time and tasks with minimal need for assistance. The majority of work completed is to be done individually. Occasional projects will require that work be done with another team member. There will be some time spent in a technical support role, which occasionally will require speaking directly to client personnel.

$25,000-30,000 year Depending on Experience
