JobDescription: We are a group of people trying to start a homeless
shelter in Lebanon, Oregon.
We are speaking to all area churches seeking "Friends of the Homeless"
for our approx. 30
homeless citizens, to move them into single apartments and help them
learn to cope with life, state agencies, and job applications, among
many other things like addictions. This will be done from a rented house
that can accommodate 5 of them until they are able to get out on their
own. We intend to start with homeless men only. As one homeless person
graduates to his own apartment, the house will accept another.
Eventually we hope to have two houses and serve women/families as well.
Our Friends of the Homeless will be trained by state agency personnel
and a life coach from an existing shelter.

We need someone to design a website for us which will allow us to keep
people posted on our progress, needs, successes, and also tie in with
Pay Pal to accept online donations.

Requirements: Computer science intern with some experience in designing
web sites. Should also be able to train a couple of our board members in
how to maintain and update the site.
