Internships in Washington and Salem aren't just for political junkies anymore.

Real world experience gained in a legislative office in Washington DC or at the state level gives you a competitive advantage -- no matter what field you're in -- health care, agriculture, forestry, engineering, business, or . . . . (insert your major here).

Please distribute the attached information to those students you think would be interested in an internship experience in Washington DC and/or Salem and encourage attendance at an information session scheduled for:

Thursday, January 24th

3:00 PM

MU 213

The session will include discussions with staff from Senator Gordon Smith's office, the Oregon Senate Majority Office, and OSU students who have served both in Washington DC and Salem. We will have information about scholarship and stipend opportunities.

If you would like printed copies of the attached flyer, we would be delighted to provide them to you via campus mail. Contact Heather Bené.

This symposium is being held in conjunction with Nonprofit Career Day at OSU.
