The simplest way to setup a printer in Windows is to follow these instructions:

  1. Logon to OSU_Access.
  2. Click Start --> Run and type \\printserv.engr.oregonstate.edu
  3. You will be prompted for a username and password. Provide your Engineering username and password. Username should be in the form ENGINEERING\username.
  4. Once logged in, you will see a list of available printers. Find the one you want to print to and click on it.
  5. You will be asked if you want to install the printer. Click Yes.
  6. At this point, you may be prompted for a username and password again. Provide your Engineering username and password.
  7. After the installation is done, you should be able to open the Printers Control Panel and see that the printer is installed.
