Our Facilities

With more than 3,500 students, the College of Engineering is the largest college at Oregon State University, occupying more than a dozen buildings, including the new Kelley Engineering Center, a 153,000-sq.-ft. "green" building that houses the rapidly growing School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. All buildings are equipped with state-of-the-art wireless communications technology, allowing instant internet access to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
In addition to classrooms, laboratories, and offices, the College is also home to 18 research centers and institutes, including the world’s largest and most technologically advanced tsunami research facility, the nation's highest power university-based energy systems lab, a world-class Radiation Center, The National Center for Accessible Transportation (NCAT), the Western Region Hazardous Substance Research Center, the Transportation Research Institute, the Center for Water & Environmental Sustainability, and others.
